industrial exemption
PEO was
granted the removal of the industrial exemption.PEO now must work with industry and government to ensure that this provision is applied accordingly. This will ensure the profession's relevance to the public, and will at the same time guarantee that the engineering profession is relevant to our Canadian engineering graduates as well as our foreign trained engineers.
PEO must be proactive to sense the needs and concerns of the public relating to engineering matters in order to handle issues such safe drinking water, reliable energy sources and protection of the environment in line with the expectation and needs of our society.
